![]() If not, reload your back up and try to max out str to see if your melee damage increase is the better option. If not, back up your save and put the saved up points into int, maybe some more skill points into distort reality to further see if int makes a huge difference. Get just enough str and dex to equip whatever i can use at the time and find out, test, if I'm doing enough damage. I would save up attribute points while leveling. Stunned enemies dont do damage.ġ point in distort reality, max temporal riftġ point in phantom strike, max dream stealerĪnd of course wolves, and perhaps the nymph if you got the points for her. While they are stunned you and your pets can do melee damage, move out in time and wait for your cooldowns to do it all over again. It still works, just not as good as before. Now though, you seem to need more intellect to do damage. The int from dream + nature was enough.Įverything would melt around me in seconds, I most of the time didnt need to swing my weapon. Attributes would go into strength and just enough dex for equipment, so yes about 400 was enough. ![]() How I used to play this character was to group up enemies first, jump in with phantom strike, which would stun because of dream stealer, wait for the stun to expire, then follow up with distort reality for another stun. After the balancing changes to dream it's not that effective anymore. The melee ritualist used to be a lot stronger. So, just go for 385 dex for Stonebinder's Cuffs, "enough" STR (how much is enough?), and the rest into HP?Ī melee ritualist uses phantom strike. Does anyone with legendary experience have suggestions how to build such a character and where to put attribute points? I'd like a staff for the pet stats, but then a shield is out of question, and tanking without one is not that appealing. What I am unsure about is how to build the character in terms of skills and, especially, attribute points. ![]() :) So, I'd like to combine these two, and a melee Ritualist seems like a good choice here. The Core Dweller is good, but there are situations where I wish I could just tank myself, especially since Plague is such an aggro-trigger anyway.Īnother lesson is that I really like having pets I guess I'm a bit lazy that way, but not having to kill every mob myself. One of the lessons of playing my Summoner in legendary (together with my Oracle-playing partner) is that it's useful to have a human tank. ![]()
